Individual Retirement
Accounts (IRAs)
Because of the potential for tax-savings and tax-deferred earnings, an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is a smart financial decision*. Let us help you find the right IRA for your retirement needs. And due to new law changes, you can convert to a Roth IRA and spread your tax liability over two years - watch a video to learn more.
We offer two types of IRAs: Roth IRA, Traditional IRA. Each of which will help you save money in the end. If you already have one or more IRAs and are looking to transfer, rollover, or consolidate those funds, the IRAs from National Bank Of Kansas City may be an excellent option for you. Both of these IRAs can be opened as a certificate of deposit or a money market.

Roth IRA
Contributions to a Roth IRA are not tax deductible, but if all conditions are met, money withdrawn from your Roth IRA account during retirement is not taxed*. A Roth IRA is ideal for someone who earns less than $105,000 or a married couple who earns less than $166,000.
Traditional IRA
This arrangement may allow you to pay income taxes on the earnings and deductible contributions of your IRA when you begin taking withdrawals, not any sooner. Traditional IRAs are ideal for someone who is not participating in an employer’s IRA plan.

IRA Rollovers
You may rollover funds from one IRA to another IRA or even rollover funds from a 401(k) to an IRA. Rollovers may have strong tax implications and do require an extensive set of paperwork so we recommend you consult with a tax advisor and review our rollover information guides.
